Fantastic experience: My son had previously failed to get his licence in Brisbane, so when we were planning a trip to Kingaroy, we decided to take the test in a smaller town, as he was quite anxious about it. It was a bit of a risk, but thank goodness we booked lessons prior to his test with Emil at Hold fast driving school. Emil was amazing with all of our questions and in getting my son into the right headspace beforehand. He passed!

Emil let's you learn at you're own pace which never usually takes long since he is such a great driving instructor. Fantastic experience: Being a student living in Brisbane, it is a very difficult process trying to find lessons that are available to you within a week, let alone practical tests. So what do I do? I drive 2.5 hours away from Brisbane to do driving lessons with Emil. I have had multiple instructors before and Emil was easily the best of them all. I have learned so many things for a cheaper price compared to instructors in Brisbane that have failed to do so. And as of today (after probably 6 lessons with him), I got my Ps :) God bless the man!!

Fantastic experience: Very pleased I chose to use Emil! As someone with anxiety I found he was incredibly patient, friendly and accommodating. He filled in a lot of blanks for me, and helped with correcting a few bad habits I'd picked up being taught by family. He has a strong emphasis on safety, so not only passing the test but creating and maintaining good/safe driving practices for the long term. After a few lessons I passed first go. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've had my learners for 3 years now and I finally decided to get my P's, Emil helped me gain the confidence to pass my driving test first go, we had a total of only 3 hours together, before I worked with Emil there was so many things I could not do in a car and by the end of our lessons I was able pass and move on with my life and not have to rely on others to get around, I thank you Emil so much for helping me achieve this milestone, I will definitely be telling everyone who needs lessons go through Emil!!!

I had given up on driving a manual car as well, but I asked for a lesson on how to use the clutch for one last try. It didn’t take long at all to get the hang of it! Fantastic experience: When I first got my learners my brother died in a horrific head on crash. It gave me alot of anxiety and I was terrified to get behind the wheel of a car. I would freak out as a passenger if cars seemed to0 close to the vehicle I was in. The driver instructer knew none of this about me. But was able to interpret my anxiety and talk to me and get me calm behind the wheel. I have gained lots of confidence. He gently corrects my misshaps and encourages and praises when doing something correct. He has great knowledge and I feel very safe listening to his instructions. Definitely recommend to use him. Excellent price for the lessons.

Negative experience: This so called driving instructor allowed a student to have right of way when he was at the stop sign at the Knight Street/Walter Road intersection. When I pointed at the stop sign they had just gone through, he arrogantly waved and gave me a thumbs up. This school should lose its licence.
