Fantastic experience: I booked some driving lessons for my nephew with Pro Drive, and the experience has been fantastic! The instructors are great, especially Catherine. She has been amazing at teaching my nephew how to reverse park and providing him with plenty of helpful tips while making sure he's aware of all the road rules. Jasmine in the office has been incredible as well—she made booking both a licence test and a driving test seamless. Highly recommend Pro Drive!

Negative experience: Don’t bother paying for packages or lots of lessons with these amateurs. If you need more lessons, or have to rearrange any, you’ll miss out. This is because Prodrive don’t give loyal customers any preference over new customers. Nor do Prodrive reach out or call current customers before booking in new customers. Prodrive blame “their online form” for bookings, but it’s really their craven business model & customer indifference that lets this happen. Prodrive simply don’t care enough to preference loyal returning customers.

At first glance, he might seem serious and strict, but he is actually very cool and patient. I was a bit nervous initially, but he made me feel at ease. He covered all the important points during the lessons and is truly a fabulous teacher. His experience helps students focus on the road signs and follow all the regulations. I passed my driving test on the first attempt thanks to his classes, and I am a very happy student!

Fantastic experience: Mason was an absolutely amazing instructor, and with his help I managed to pass my practical drive test today!! Fantastic experience: Donna is an absolutely fantastic instructor! Fun to chat to and knows exactly what she’s doing. I was able to improve on my manoeuvres and easily build up my confidence in doing so. I passed my driving test on the first go. Couldn’t have done it without her!

Negative experience: I wouldn’t let this imbecile teach my kids how to drive he sped up deliberately as I was trying to make a turn, then rode my rear and proceeded to give me the finger and swear at me. Setting a great example in a car marked with his business name, what a clown!

Fantastic experience: My daughter Madi had manual car lessons with Andrew. He was great. Patient, educational and caring. Madi was confident to get her license and passed first attempt- thank you Andrew! Second daughter is having lessons now with Andrew and I m Am sure she will also pass first go thanks to his guidance.

Fantastic experience: Instructor Shane was brilliant and knowledgeable, my daughter was nervous about her P’s test, that was before meeting Shane. He was very clear and precise on his instructions which put her at ease straight away which allowed her to pass her test on first try. He gave her the confidence to drive well and I’m now sure she will be safe on the road. I highly recommend Shane and can’t thank him enough

Negative experience: Teacher Ian rocked up at 7:30am, driving lesson was at 8:30, tried texting my kid to come out but he was sleeping, when he finally went out he didn't say a word about driving, just complaining about not coming out early, then the 2 lessons we booked he didn't accept the hours in the app. Sent an email to the company but no reply

Fantastic experience: Karl Bull is a great trainer, very knowledgeable when it comes to road ranger gearbox & also very patient. Wouldn’t look past him if you want to learn from the best

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Mason. He was amazing and very calm during the lessons… I gained my confidence in driving from him and I recently passed my green P for the first time!

Negative experience: Watched a teacher driver speed straight through a school zone, even over took cars in said school zone. Actually disgusting. I’ve also emailed all details. (Won’t let me reply to your reply so I’ve attached a photo, thank you)

Fantastic experience: Definitely cannot thank Dave from Prodrive enough. I passed my HR License test and thanks to Dave for his instruction. He is very professional and definitely makes you comfortable during a lesson and before the test. Highly recommend ProDrive for all your licensing needs and driving instruction.

Negative experience: Presumably instructor speeding about 20km over, can't indicate properly. Initially the OMG MOVE number plate is funny but says it all. Shouldn't be training new drivers when they can't drive safely themselves. Cunningham HWY onto ripley Rd (North) sometime in the AM 10/07/23. Numberplate above, it's not a truck.

Fantastic experience: Mason was amazing to learn to drive with. I was very anxious at the start - but he was very friendly and helped ease that anxiety. Yesterday I finally took a driving test and passed with 100% for my auto licence Thank you so much for your time and patience and the nice conversations

Fantastic experience: I needed to get a couple of extra hours to get more acquainted with Kenworth’s and the Road Ranger gearboxes and Karl taught me in 2 hours more than what my previous trainer took 2 (very annoying and stressful) days to achieve. Friendly, calm, respectful, knowledgeable, happy and real. He will give you accurate feedback without stressing you out and will make sure you understand why. In my opinion, Those are all the qualities you need from a Driving Instructor when you are learning. Not to mention the truck was spotless(as seems to be the company standard), well maintained and a beauty to drive. I feel comfortable now to go out there and rock n’ roll. Thank you Karl, I owe you one!

Negative experience: Had Karen as a driving instructor, and I cannot say I was impressed with the final result. Now I've been on my P's for almost 6 months. Here's my experience. 1. Extremely condescending and did not make me feel confident with my manual driving after 13 lessons! Had to switch to automatic due to this. 2. Kept pushing me to have lessons with her, which made me feel incompetent. This seemed almost like a quick cash grab. 3. Whenever I asked her questions she would just stare and not answer - almost as though she expected me to know the answer. From this experience, I chose to go with Dalase to see if I was competent enough to be an automatic driver, considering the doubts Karen filled me with. Within this one hour I had with him, being only the first and last lesson, he was able to make me feel confident. Therefore, I took the test and was able to get my P's. Although Karen was a manual teacher - it was disgraceful that her behaviour made me switch from manual to automatic.

Fantastic experience: Had lessons with both John and Shane. Both were super friendly but Shane's lessons were particulary detailed. Learnt a lot from him and ended up passing my test first try!

Fantastic experience: By far the best driving school around, they have be with my son for a year and have been teaching him to actually drive safely not just to pass his test, I think that’s a very big difference. From the receptionist to the instructors they are just a very professional team and I would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Narrowly avoided t-boning a clueless pro drive instructor on Junction rd Barellan Point thismorning Too fixated on his GPS instead of the road he was driving on. Fail to give way and use of a device while driving is a QPS TICKETABLE OFFENCE. Do either during a driving test and you FAIL YOUR LICENCE!

Negative experience: A few people recomended ProDrive so I decided to go there to upgrade my licence. I had the worst experience you could imagine, the only thing I could give more than a 1 star for is Jodie and the other girls in the office.

Fantastic experience: Thanks To Tom at Ipswich Pro Drive, I passed my HC licence today. Tom would have to be the best instructor for heavy vehicle licences. If you really want to learn how to drive trucks choose Pro drive! Thanks to Tom, Dave and the team at Pro drive For an excellent experience.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Zac Domrow as an instructor in the 3 lessons I've had with him I've come so far he is the best instructor I've had. Always makes me feel proud that I'm getting my hours up even if my make mistakes, stall the car, forget indication all the things learner drivers do. Unlike previous schools I've been to hands down best experience. While he is young he is the best teacher I've had and I can't wait to get my ps because of him.

Fantastic experience: Finally got my Ps today, first attempt because of Shane!!! literally the most helpful, qualified and all round great person. Wouldn't of been as confident if it wasn't for him. He has taught above and beyond, to not only pass the test but also make sure you are safe on the roads once out of his supervision. Thanks Shane for all the help and lifelong lessons in driving.

Negative experience: Never showed up to a lesson I had booked and did not call to let me know either. After calling them, they had no record of the lesson that I had booked a day earlier via email. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school. Got in the car with Shane for the first time feeling a bit unnerved after having a bit of a bad driving history. Shane just walked me through all the basics and after a few lessons he had guided me toward being a confident and safe driver. Passed first time without any problems.
