The entire process was as smooth as silk from booking in on line, attending on the day and passing the test. I would highly recommend using Truckability for all your HR and HC training. Felt totally at ease, safe & relaxed during the whole day and after overcoming the initial feeling of “driving a truck” for the first time ever; by the end of the training I felt comfortable and safe with my new found skills and ready to pursue this change of career and direction as a 51 yr old ! Negative experience: Don't waste your time! WAITED AN HOUR FOR THE TRAINER and had the audacity to blame me for not waiting long enough. The lack of communication should of been a red flag. 14th of July - Contacted the team by Phone call ( No answer) , SMS and Email 15th of July - Get an email response asking to call Steve to which I tried the day before and earlier that day, no response. Later that day I received my first SMS from Steve. We organised a booking for 22nd of July BUT did not provide a time. 20th of July - Called (no answer) and SMS to confirm time on Wednesday. Response via SMS and wanted to push to 29th of July instead. Went back and forth to find better suited time and agreed to split on 21/07 which will be the training with the trainer and 22/07 will be the test with Steve. 21st of July - Arrived at agreed location at 12:20 and found another student. Approx 12:30pm: Steve arrives and advises that the trainer should be here shortly and proceeds to test the other student. 1:10pm - Call and SMS Steve asking the whereabouts of the trainer, no answer. 1:20pm - Try again with no answer. 1:30pm - No sign of the trainer, no response to any calls or SMS. Called and SMS one last time to advise I am leaving. Got in my car and left. 1:54pm - Steve calls me asking where I am, clearly had no idea about any of my SMS or calls. Advised I was waiting for the trainer for an hour, no one showed up and no communication. I left. He had the audacity to say that it was no way it has been an hour and the trainer has been waiting for me the entire time. When I told him that that is a lie, I have been waiting in the same place you left me. I have clear dashcam footage of my car parked there as well as me waiting around. You didn't respond to any of my SMS or calls and... he just hung up on me. By far the most incompetent team I have ever met. Left an extremely sour taste in my mouth and clearly they cannot take any fault of their own. Ridiculous.

Negative experience: He was so greedy for money, he just fails anyone to earn more money via retest, he advertising second attempt is free but it’s only through RTA. He keeps you in nervous state during training and doesn’t give you the confidence in driving

Fantastic experience: I went into the course with absolutely no knowledge of how to operate a truck and or the safety standards they carry, after spending extensive time with Steve he gave me everything and more I require to start in the industry, by being patient and understanding with his approach to teaching me. Fantastic experience: Top place for truck training. Genuine guys that know what you need in order to pass. Did lots of kms in the truck and got a good feel for it, at one stage i think we went to Blacktown and then back passed Penrith and nearly went up the mountains. And i needed that lol, as my mind just couldn't swap from sporty lancer mode to 18 tonne truck slow-mode. In the end i got it and passed first go. Thanks again guys!

Fantastic experience: Good training, good price, very easy going and made me feel confident about driving. Did the HR licence, I like how you get some experience using different types of ropes, chains and straps, I’ve heard from other mates they don’t do this, so get a bit of extra knowledge in that area, not that I need it in my workforce but will help me when I get enough coin to buy a dirt bike and want to strap it down on the Ute, the instructor Steve is a top bloke, knows he’s stuff and good to talk to and the assessor Nathan was thorough. He has a few more customers coming he’s way. James

Fantastic experience: If you want to upgrade your licence to LR, MR, HR, then you won't find any better and cheapest option in NSW. I have done research as well to find out the cheapest option. Got my training and assessment in 7 hours. Such a lovely and friendly Steve is. The only drawback is the communication problems with him because he is providing training to customers, therefore, unable to contact him on phone to book him or to get information pertain a upgradation. Strongly recommended who wants to upgrade their licence.

He is a genuine bloke who doesn't try to scam like other driving schools to prove this he offers two attempts at the test if you happen to fail the first test. No way you cant get a licence with Steve unless you are a genuine threat to yourself and other road users. 5 Stars all the way

Better still, his service was outstanding. He was so patient and professional. And I was really struggling with the manual crash box gears. He really went the extra mile to help me. Fantastic experience: Best training in SYDNEY. I know nothing about trucks, made a few phone calls and was even more scared with the information overload and still basically didn’t know what to do. ( I wanted to throw my phone against the wall in all honesty ) Called truckability, spoke to there more than friendly staff and was finally happy I got someone helpful on the phone, I finally understand what I had to do with the more than helpful advise and I was finally on the right path and knew what the hell I was doing. Training was fantastic, relaxed and you really do learn. I was blown out of the water with everything, I can actually say I learned a ton of information that you know only comes from someone who knows what the hell there talking about in the trucking industry. With that said I shut my mouth, listened and passed first go. I feel I wouldn’t of got my HR license if it wasn’t for truckability and the fantastic support and training they give. Made me fell and drive like a professional with there training, they really took my driving to another level and improved what skills I had. 10 out of 10
