Fantastic experience: I'd been doing lessons with Caroline for 3 or 4 years now on and off. I can confidently say she has been a great instructor for the entire time I've known her. It was an absolute pleasure getting to learn from someone so nice and down to Earth. I'm sad to say goodbye but I'm endlessly grateful for the skills she's passed on to me.

Fantastic experience: I had the absolute privilege in having Carol as my instructor. She assisted in me getting my license within 3 months. At the beginning of our journey, I was extremely anxious and had 0 confidence in myself. Fast forward to today where I passed my test with flying colours, and am so confident on the road. Her way in teaching is so kind, gentle and extremely helpful. I would recommend this driving school to anyone who is an anxious learner, needing assistance with getting their license.

Equipped with a thorough knowledge of the Ipswich area, Lee was very thorough and immediately puts you at ease as you enter the car. The cars are dual control and are very well suited for teaching students to drive. Of the various driving companies that I have learnt with, A+ is the best by a longshot.

Negative experience: I had a driving lesson with Lee today. It was not an enjoyable experience and I have lost a lot of confidence with my driving. He nitpicked every little thing and judged my driving within the first 5 mins when I was still getting used to his car. He constantly took control of the car when he did not need to. Towards the end of the lesson he felt the need to honk the horn twice which made me feel extremely uncomfortable since I am the one in control of the car and both times it was unnecessary, neither of our lives were at risk, he just wanted to let out his anger. Both times he honked the horn he managed to hit me on his way to the horn. I would not recommend to anyone just starting out with driving, there is no grace for little mistakes, the whole lesson he kept on repeating all the things I did wrong and none of the things I did well. I am grateful I have been driving for a long time but I can see a new driver being left in a much worse state than I am right now. I am very upset with the time I wasted in doing this lesson. All it did was make my driving worse.

After having no lessons throughout the entirety of my 100 hours, my parents and I decided that I book a few lessons to understand the test course and ensure my driving was up to scratch. Boy was it a good idea that we did! Lee was patient with me and made the overall driving experience very calm and enjoyable, helping me to become a more confident and safe driver. Lee gave clear and helpful instructions which was a crucial aspect to bettering my driving skills. Fantastic experience: Ill take the time to be lengthy if it means I can help even just one person with similar circumstances. A lot about driving is confidence and communication with your driving instructor. I was open to the flaws I needed to correct but sometimes that openness can lead to some judgements. Thank goodness I met Carolyn. See, I know how to drive. I just didnt know how to drive under QLD assessment. Lots of people take this for granted but when you have a foreign license, skills and practices do not translate universally. For instance, I come from a place where there are hardly any roundabouts. A place where if you give way, then you better start walking because youll never get to where you're going. Our cars had steering wheels on the left hand side and switches flipped around. Palming or one hand steering was also par for the course. I took great lengths to explain that, and was a willing student. First lesson with Carolyn, I explained all that. I showed her what I was doing, a good part of the hour was spent just communicating. You cant do this X here but you can do Y. You should slow down in this situation because... You must fully stop one this line or else this might happen. Etc. etc. All well explained. All with patience and calm. She knew I was a listening and trying to apply what she said. At the end of the first lesson, "you can drive dont worry, you have the skill, but these are the things you need to work on". She gave me positive critique. No judgements on why I didnt know things first hand. She gave me confidence which to me was really important because it gave me something to build on. I did not have any second thoughts booking more lessons. And each time, "you did good here, well done here, but control your speed, the examiner has the right to fail you if you don't. Shoulder check in this situation. etc" I didn't realize I responded well to positive reinforcement that even when I wasn't on a lesson, every time I see a speed sign, I could hear Carolyn saying that's the sign, don't go over the limit. I practiced, corrected habits that were built for years. I enjoyed talking with Carolyn so much so that I'll either miss some signs or go slightly over or under the recommended limit which she'll immediately remind me of. I think worried her a bit because of that but I was confident in retaining her advise. Yes, more lessons meant out of pocket more but the cost of failing literally meant walking and taking the bus as rebooking tests would take weeks if not months and I wouldnt be able to use my foreign license to drive and I couldnt do that to my toddler. I felt immense pressure to pass but Carolyn kept reassuring me, "you'll be alright, we practice, just pay attention, dont overthink it." We repeated and she kept putting me in situations that might come up which later on really helped how I handled things. To wrap it up, day of the test, passed it on my first attempt. I was overwhelmed with the news because of how it impacts my day to day that it was Carolyn who mentioned to me that I passed without errors and that my examiner was impressed. But I am only an extension of my driving instructor. Im humble enough to say, if it wasnt for her, I likely would have failed. So many thanks to you and your abilities, Carolyn. You are a great great teacher. For anyone, local or foreign, in the area and want to learn to drive, or want to correct habits to adhere to QLD driving, do try Carolyn. I cannot overstate her calm demeanour which amplifies her ability to communicate with you on what you can do to get your license. I hope you have a great driving experience with Aplus as I did. Fantastic experience: Thanks to A+ driving school I have passed easily on my first attempt. My family from my mum to my siblings and now myself have gone through this driving school. My parents have gone through so many driving school but nothing is effective as this driving school. Therefore, I did my whole 100 hrs with them and trust their process throughout my whole experience. The instructors are friendly making me feel like family. They are easy to communicate and comes on time for all the lessons. Their assistance is phenomenal. They took care of every little details from the time of beginning of the 1st hr until you pass your test, they are there every step of the way. I can't thank them enough and would really recommend to everyone I can. If I were to return and choose a driving school, I won't hesitate to call up A+ driving school instantly. Fantastic experience: I'm 21 and haven't driven since 2018 I told Lee on the first lesson in February that my goal was to pass my P's test by the end of this year and two months later I had my test booked and I just passed my P's test. I did lessons with Lee and sometimes Carolyn both were excellent instructors and I felt prepared for the test. Lee also helped me keep on track of everything I needed to do before the test including getting me the paperwork to apply for an exemption and making sure I'd passed my hazard perception test. Fantastic experience: I passed my P licence test finally this week, well before the end of 2020. Without Lee's guidance and instructions, I would have never been able to achieve this. As Lee is a very strict instructor, I always felt a lot of pressure when doing driving lessons with him. Until I went for my driving test did I realise that all his strictness and pressure was to help me to get technically and mentally ready for the test. A driving test is nothing like an ordinary driving practice, it requires high concentration under tremendous pressure when a driving examiner unknown to us is observing us for every second! We will never be able to pass the test if we don't feel pressure at all in our driving lessons, especially when we are inexperienced new drivers! Just before this driving test in which I succeedded, Lee repeatedly asked me to concentrate, concentrate and concentrate and by doing this I would get rid of all the nervousness for the driving test. I did what Lee told me and was fully concentrated during the 30-minute test period and succeeded. I would like to recommend Aplus Learn 2 Drive to any learner driver who would like to succeed in their driving tests and become a safe driver. Lee is a truly amazing instructor!

Fantastic experience: Hello everyone, I highly recommend you to choose Carolyn and Lee's school to learn to drive!! Along with my recommendations, I would love to share my personal learning experience here with you: I started with Carolyn about 2 years ago, and my goal is to change my Asian driving licence to the Aussie one, however, even I had a licence in the past, but I was still struggling to drive on the road. I was very panic. Carolyn basically helped me from '0', and she was always very patient and nice to me even after I made dangerous mistakes on the road. I think she told me not only the practical driving skills, but also the road rules and also lots of interesting things around Ipswich. I could say without her help, I would not be able to get my Aussie open licence today. She is a wonderful coach who is very easy-going and responsible. This school is really suitable for the parents who are looking for professional driving coaches for the children, and someone who are struggling on the road. Fantastic experience: Lee was a fantastic instructor. I wouldn't have been able to develop the confidence and skills I needed to drive if it weren't for him. I passed my P's on the first go thanks to him.

Fantastic experience: Both Lee and Carolyn are really organized and detailed with their driving lessons and they have covered everything necessary for my driving test! It is really comfortable and easy to learn driving with them and I managed to pass the test at my first attempt

Fantastic experience: I had Carolyn as my instructor and she was amazing. I honestly don’t believe I would have passed my test without her. On top of the amazing instructors, a plus is quite cheap compared to other driving schools in Ipswich.

Fantastic experience: Best in town!!! I had some lessons with a mainstream company in Ipswich but they were not nearly as good. Thanks to Lee, he took me onboard and I passed first go. Would recommend anyone looking for a great learning experience, these guys are great!

Fantastic experience: Lee and his wife run a very good driving school company , the best experience I’ve had in his driving school, he helped me achieve my goal with getting my Ps , only took 1 lesson from him booked me straight away for my test the next day and got it , him and his wife are very helpful and understanding and would 100% recommend coming here.
