Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Purple Truck Driving School at Toowoomba, from Rob and the team booking me in to the wonderful Don instructing it was easy from the moment I called them.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend purple truck for anyone wanting to get their truck licence, I went with another driving school but they weren't comparable to Purple truck, I gave Robert a call I was greeted by friendly service, Robert organised a few lessons for me, I met John he explained everything really well, John is friendly and knowledgeable as an instructor, I went for my HR non synchronised today I passed first Go , 20/5/2024, 200% satisfied, many thanks to Robert John and the team at purple truck.

Fantastic experience: I called Robert in the morning to enquire about weighing the caravan, and by 3.15 it was all done. Don was awsome and gave me all the information I needed plus some. I wasn't expecting same day service. Very professional and efficient to deal with.

Fantastic experience: John is an amazingly calm and cool professional trainer like no other. He is the best in the business that I've come across, and i know many trainers in both Qld & Nsw as I've worked in the trucking industry for 15years, but i never wanted to sit under these other trainer when i heard how they treated their students first hand... It's this bad teaching thats held me back for 26 years.. I wished I had known John & Rob years ago! John has proven that He can teach old dogs new tricks! In the beginning of my training when i did everything wrong, when i was doubtful and lacked confidence, John said, I'd be blown away in the end as to how well i'll pick this up, He was right! I'm amazed now! Not only did John showed me so many little tricks to driving the 18 Speed Road Ranger correctly, unlike the You Tube clips out there.. But He explained in stages at the right time for me, a wealth of essential truckin & law knowledge.. It is so rare to come across a trainer like John who not only has the wealth of knowledge and skills, But also the calm & humble personality to train people under pressure... and a joke. Toowoomba is privileged to have John, and Rob.. Don't hold back if your thinking of getting Your 18speed Road Ranger HR HC MC licence!! Fantastic experience: Don Foster came to our house to weigh our caravan and land cruiser before going on a three week tour in a couple of weeks time. Don was informative and approachable very knowledgeable and advised us on things we knew nothing about one of which was the sticker stating do not overtake turning vehicle and the rules around this. Our thanks to Don for the weigh we now know what to do and how to do it, I fully recommend other caravanners take advantage of this essential service.

Fantastic experience: When undertaking training for my HR licence, Les was a great teacher and tour guide. He taught me how to handle the truck calmly in various situations and guided me through probable areas where I would be tested. He also directed me to travel around areas of Toowoomba I didn't know existed, which made me more relaxed and eager to explore more. Les is a very down-to-earth instructor who makes the lesson informative and relevant, but also enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've been procrastinating for a few years about attaining my HR Licence. I shouldn't have. Don was all things you wish for in a Driving Instructor and his teaching works. Do yourself a favour 'Feel the fear and do it anyway'...you won't regret it.

Negative experience: Don the instructor was rude and abusive wouldn't answer any questions when asked questions became irritated and angry wouldn't give clear instructions truck mesh was out of alignment so hard to get into gear and he would get abusive over that aswell do not go through this company at all and they charge me for hr licence course when it should have been Mr licence course which is about half the cost of hr course

Fantastic experience: I took a one day HR course with Rob. It was one of the best experiences I've had this year. At first, I was very nervous having not driven such a big truck in my life. But my trainer Rob helped me with the training in a very gentle and considerate way. He just kept helping me build up my confidence. By the end of the course, I ended up with a full of confidence in myself and I passed the test in my first attempt. Definitely recommend Purple Truck School. Thank you Rob!

Fantastic experience: Having spent over a decade in the oil and gas industry I've had my fair share of training. I found Rob provides a very comfortable training environment. His methods are tailored to the individual and is more interested in teaching you the right way opposed to pressuring you into taking more lessons than are required. Fantastic experience: Did the 'licence in a day' with Purple today (MR upgrade to HC) great result only because of the excellent tuition and practical instruction I received from Don. Even got very good praise from the Driving Assessor along with a 'Good Driving' comment on my assessment paper. A word of advice to anyone going ahead with updgrading - LISTEN TO WHAT THE INSTRUCTOR TELLS YOU!!!! Yes you might have been driving heavy vehicles for years but he will train you to be TEST READY as well as a good safe competent driver. Follow that advice and you too will be the proud owner of a licence upgrade.
