Fantastic experience: We drove down to VicRoads and completed a test route under similar instructions to what the real test was giving me advice.

Fantastic experience: Hans was outstanding, after a poor experience with I driving instructor prior to Hans, I was left with little confidence just under 2 weeks before my test, Hans managed to find time for me on incredibly short notice and provide me with incredible advice allowing me to successfully pass the driving test despite a particularly harsh tester. I could not recommend Hans more highly to anyone trying to learn manual or sitting the test in a manual car, his approach to teaching suited me perfectly and he gave me confidence that I was able to achieve a pass. Positive experience: Hans is very knowledgeable, patient and had a very calm approach to teaching. We had 4-5 hours of lessons in total and today my daughter passed her test on the first go. He gave her confidence and while she was very anxious at first, he waited for her to be ready and we used the hours closer to the test instead of at the start of her licence. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is due to punctuality and responsiveness to messages, it wasn’t always great. Otherwise we had a positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I had 5 lessons over 4 days, and I can say that I learned more in that time than I learned with other driving instructors over 6 months, his teaching techniques are way beyond any other driving instructors anywhere, he is an amazing teacher and uses NLP to help you remember key aspects to help you master your driving and create confidence and calmness on the road in order to pass your driving test the first time, I would highly recommend anyone to learn with Hans, as he is a true professional instructor that's unmatched.

Negative experience: ATTENTION: Mums, dads and daughters, check this blokes negative reviews, he hasn't changed a bit. My recommendation to any past or students who have been unnecessarily touched, report it to the police. There is no reason for someone teaching you to drive to be touching your arms, hands, thighs, legs or the small of your back. If I could give zero stars I would. Hans is unreliable, tardy, is a middle aged man that likes to call young girls love, comes across as being more interested in telling you how incredible he is instead of being on time, coming prepared and teaching in a manner that makes you feel comfortable. It is incredibly overpriced in my opinion for the service that your receiving (I say that loosely) and the fact you seem to be operating for Hans, instead of Hans providing the service that you've paid for in a manner that puts the learner at ease. Don't be fooled by the slick talking, the fancy videos and what I consider the ridiculous prices. From personal experience you certainly don't get what you paid for in this instance.

Fantastic experience: Hans saved me! I was struggling to teach my son how to drive manual. Trying to teach my son was a very frustrating experience for both my son and I. Not pleasant at all! A super lesson with Hans got him competent and confident enough for me to take over. I could then step in and continue giving my son driving hours without the initial hiccups. Fantastic experience: Needed an emergency instructor for my driving test, hans was able to fit me in first thing on a Monday morning and was able to give me a crash course on how to operate the car an hour before my test. But also took the time to give details on good general driving habits. Which helped me pass my test. Thanks again han!

Fantastic experience: Hans was a great instructor. I did the ‘2 hour super lesson’, and over the course of the lesson he introduced new concepts and explained them one by one in a way which was really easy to understand. He gives you a really good sense of not just what to do when you’re driving a manual, but why you should do it that way and what your inputs are doing on a mechanical level, so that you can jump in any car and have a good idea of how to operate it. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: I felt uncomfortable during every lesson I had. He would tap my hand at gear changes and also when telling me to put my other hand on the wheel. He would also tap my thigh when telling me to angle my leg out when lifting the clutch, and would place his hand on my upper back when telling me to lean forward in order to give way rather than just telling me, as well as tapping my shoulder when talking to me to make sure I was paying attention. He showed up a little late to some lessons when we had arranged a time previously. I did not learn that much during my lessons. He also told me to do ten head checks at once when stopped at a red light which I did not think was very beneficial considering I had to pay attention to the lights.

Fantastic experience: Choosing the Manual driving school to learn manual was the best decision I made in learning how to drive. My instructor Hans was amazing, he was full of encouragement and had plenty of patience during our lessons. Within one 2 hour lesson Hans had me confidently moving through the gears, balancing the clutch and putting together the missing pieces that had held me back before. Patient and incredibly complimentary of him and his abilities on the road whilst teaching him in an easily understood manner! We unfortunately engaged hans’s service at the completion of the COVID lockdown and whilst he was inundated with work always made time to communicate with my son and made himself available to squeeze him in for lessons. Fantastic experience: Hans was an incredible driving instructor! I had my first manual lesson with him the day before my test and he completely changed my skills. He is the only reason I passed my test the next day! I called him a week before explaining the trouble I was having driving a manual and he went out of his way to find time to help me. Prior to the lesson, my technique was all over the place and I was stalling all the time. Within only 24 hours before my test, he improved my skills and I was no longer stalling and he also improved my overall confidence with driving a manual car.
