Fantastic experience: I would recommend any learner either collecting their hours or revising manoeuvres to try Focus driving school. Hunse, was the instructor that I had and suffice to say that she was incredibly calm when giving instructions, gave helpful tips for manoeuvres and rocked up with an incredibly professional attitude for my sessions. Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a driving school, I highly recommend Focus Driving School! Customer service – Ali and Husne provided exceptional customer service; they were punctual, professional, and kind throughout. They genuinely cared about my success in driving! I transferred my international license to QLD license. They boosted my confidence and developed my skills when it came to driving on the motorway (highway) and they also provided refresher lessons prior to the test for driving in general (inclusive of, but not limited to manoeuvres, merge or form 1 lane, changing lanes, various speed zones, parallel parking, reverse exercise). Furthermore, I found them to be very efficient in their communication response time so I was not left wondering when they will get back to me. And liasing with Ali and Husne on a schedule and timeframe (including any changes) was so easy and straightforward. Individual Instructor review - The driving instructor duo have made me feel like family! Ali is very calm (which helped me to also be calm) and very technical and thorough with driving skills as whenever he gave instructions or advice, he would refer to the TMR rules and guidelines (including measurements and reasons), for example, how far you should be away from the curb in the various scenarios, and the time to check and merge safely on the various speed roads, etc. Husne was like a mum; she genuinely cared about me, always providing positive comments throughout the drive, making me feel comfortable to learn (and calming my nerves, especially on the highway – the first day was hilarious!) She also knows what she’s talking about and is well versed with the TMR road regulations and expectations. Overall, Husne and Ali were the best people to help enhance my driving skills. I have successfully transferred my international license to QLD license, and I am so grateful them for this! And I know if you engage them in your driving journey – whether it be first time learner or refresher leaner (for transferring international license or in general) – you will not regret it!

Fantastic experience: From someone who had to get an exemption and took the test with only 40 real hours driven, Ali is the best. I had another instructor during my time driving and Ali definitely was my favourite. He’s very calm and relaxed during the time driving, he allows you to make your own decisions and educates you while you drive. I had 7 lessons with him and booked the driving test package and I felt super confident after all my lessons, it was the only time I could drive. I passed first go thanks to him

I took my lessons from Focus Training and was taught and guided by Mr.Ali & Ms.Husne in my driving conversion. As someone who gets nervous easily, Ali was always very calm and gave clear instructions, and was patient even when I made some mistakes or am unsure about something and that only encouraged me to improve my mistakes. After not liking my experience with an instructor prior to booking with focustraining, I was nervous about having the same experience again and that I would be discouraged from driving but Ali was very patient and good at communicating with me. He was also kind and it’s always good to have an instructor who gives me feedback on areas I need to work on and still helps me build confidence when driving instead of discouraging me.

Price was reasonable as he had to come from North Lakes to Chermside ( workplace) spending more than 40mins in coming here on start time. That was kind of him. Thankyou for diiscount on last 2classes. His calmness and patience is another attribute that gave me freedom to ask questions and clarify doubts which helped a lot. He ensured I was learning the right things following road rules, driving safely and wanted my basics in control, which means he did not jump to teach more complicated things.
