Fantastic experience: I recently completed my training at Armstrong's, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The eLearning material provided on their website before the course started was incredibly helpful. It summarized and clarified my understanding of the VicRoads handbook, making complex concepts much easier to grasp. The quizzes were particularly valuable, as they trained me well for the knowledge assessment. The team at Armstrong's is friendly and highly experienced. They create a comfortable learning environment that helps build your confidence behind the wheel. A special mention goes to my trainer, Darren, who made the learning process pleasant and productive. He was quick to identify my bad driving habits and patiently helped me correct them. Darren took me through a variety of routes, including freeways, highways, busy city areas, and even hilly terrains, teaching me how to drive confidently across all types of roads. I highly recommend Armstrong's to anyone looking to pursue truck driving training. Their professionalism and attention to detail make all the difference!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Armstrong Truganina & Thomastown that people looking to get HR license. The trainer was very patient and repeated the instructions to ensure that I understood them clearly given that English is not my first language. During the driving practice, he went through all the specific requirements and this gave me the confidence to go ahead with the driving assessment. With all the instructions kept in mind and a bit of luck, I passed the HR license assessment straight away in the Christmas holidays. This location gets a little busy at times which makes for good training, however a good time was chosen for the test, which made things go a bit smoother. Jake provided great constructive feedback and was super entertaining yet professional. I've also done my motorcycle training with Armstrong's years before, and will definitely return if I'm doing my MC license in future. The express HR course was comprehensive with lots of practice, while also being the most affordable option on the market. Highly recommended!

As for the actual course, Kevin was super knowledgeable, he puts your brain to work by not always giving the answer and letting you think first. He is super professional and serious with making sure you nail the techniques right so you can be a safe rider on the road. My experience at armstrong did not just feel like a course, Kevin my instructor made this such a memorable experience for me with his great humour and made the experience super fun for me.

Fantastic experience: Did my practical test here for medium rigid truck license, Phil, my instructor was an amazing teacher and very knowledgeable and due to that I ultimately passed. Very happy with the communication, staff were very friendly and overall at great experience. Did my theory test in Thomastown (which I passed) and I highly recommend Armstrong for your Licensing requirements.

Fantastic experience: Motor cycle riding is one of the harder things I have tried in a while, I was very anxious to try especially as a mature person (over 50). But Tony and Dino were very informative, knowledgeable, skilled, but firm enough to know safety was the most important thing, and would only allow progress if you proved yourself with the basics. Fantastic experience: I had my training with Kevin for my Motorcycle Learners permit and let me tell you, I could not have had a better instructor to learn such an incredibly fun and important skill. I went into the course with some confidence, but no knowledge of the skill. I walked out successfully knowing I can operate a motorcycle and ride on the road with normal traffic whilst also paying attention and looking out for hazards that are not as apparent as they are in a car. Right from the two day course to the license plus test there was so much learn and experience before going to the real world of motorcycle riding. Fantastic experience: I did the Heavy Rigid non synchromesh course with Armstrong's at Truganina. It was my first experience with non synchromesh truck driving. My instructor, Tom Karpiesiok, was excellent. He gave me the information and confidence to drive a non synchro truck and pass the test. Thanks Tom and staff, who were helpful. Fantastic experience: Wanted to say a huge thank you to Ben, Kev and everyone at Armstrongs. I did my learners permit with Kev and he was so informative and kind! The two days I spent on the course all gear and bikes were provided and in good condition. Kev helped me a lot with technical aspects of riding and was really patient in answering my questions and giving feedback! Thanks Kev! I did my check ride with Ben the owner and he smashed it! On the day I did my check ride it seemed like Ben had a lot on his plate and a hand injury. Despite this, Ben handled the check ride with the utmost professionalism! He took his time in the circuit with us and walked us through what needed to be done for each activity. On the road ride he did a great job at giving clear directions and feedback as well as taking his time to make sure we all understood what was expected of us on the road. Both are very helpful and experienced and I could not recommend doing a motorcycle learners course with Armstrongs!
